Has anybody herd weather or not Yamaha is addressing and of the clutch issues , like primary and secondary spring binding , helix not really percison (not hitting on all rollers) and belt blowing issues on some sleds .
How about are they even reconizing any of these points

Lots of clutching posts here....gotta read up.

short answer is NO, not ONE CHANGE for 18.(rollers were updated last season yet some say new ones still junk)

Unfortunately we are going to see a lot of primary roller problem this year....:-/

I just ordered my Heavy Duty Rollers from Turbo Dynamics just now for my 2018 RTX 50th. Figure you can't go wrong updating to these Rollers right from the start, since it doesn't seem like Yamaha is shipping the new 18's with improved rollers for the secondary. Now I shouldn't have to worry about Flat-Spotting these new HD Rollers..seems like a win win.

Thanks, we only have 5 sets left after shipping yours, they sell like hot cakes, we have a lot more coming soon.

You're Welcome!! Glad you mentioned this, and made us aware to change them out right from the beginning. I'm very surprised Yamaha isn't improving the Rollers right from the Factory...this blows my mind. The money this sled costs, and you have to worry about something as simple as Rollers flat spotting and damaging other parts in the clutch, is definitely not something that should be happening AT ALL.

Glad I bought them...will have my dealer install these at set up, along with J&T Stealth Wheel kit for the rear axle.
