When you are removing cover, for whatever work you're doing. Are you replacing the cover gasket? If you decide to use the old gasket are you reapplying yamabond to cover side when reinstalling?

Rubber o-ring, I've done lots without replacing or using any Yamabond.

My particular valve cover gasket is similar to the chaincase style, if it were a true o-ring style id probably have better luck. Lol!
Once i removed coils, plugs and hold down bolts, i released coolant tank above turbo to ad in clearance. It took a bit of work to remove valve cover.
There must be something ive overlooked, as I'm having a go of it, cover is making contact with cam hold downs. Can't seem to get cover back on, in a straight forward easy way.

Always harder to get back on. Ideally need to take more stuff off and out of the way to get cover on. We are always looking for the easy way and turns out to be the hard way lol.
