I paid about $11K for my Nytro in '09. I don't think the $11,800 I'm paying for my Viper is that bad in comparison.

IMHO they are all way way too much money with the Viper worst of all the Yamahas . Look there is no question that production is cheaper in the US than in Japan,no shipping cost,no import tarrif etc.
A Vector is clearly more complicated to assemble than a Viper,more castings more pieces etc.
Add it all up and a Viper should cost WAY less than a Vector.They are either loosing their shirts on a Vector or cleaning up on Viper.

I agree totally.
