Yup and I am so happy with my sled that I will put up with alot. Guys last weekend I did something stupid. Was a pack of wannabees that passed buddy and I right as we were finishing up a break on trail. Number plates and a MoHawk on first of 5 sleds. Buggers even gave er the gas when going by. We waited and were not try ing to catch them but we did real quick. Scared the crap out of each and every one of them when they would finally realize they were about to be passed after 2-3min of my skiis being up thier flap. Last two actually tried to race. They lost. My buddy did end up in the pickers but recovered quick and repassed the two that went by as he was getting it out. I know its dumb to do this on public trails but it sure was fun and sure was easy! Now I know and wont do it again. But man was it fun.

BTW, I know your sled is faster then mine so why did you have to scare me when you passed me... damn you.
It was 2 AC's a Doo and a Polaris. would never do that to a Yamaha unless I wanted to stop them and say hi ! No sticker on yet but I have perfect spot for one right on the back bag. Give them a good view! I really dont know what became of me. I am a safety instructor even?

BTW, I would never be your gas man... as slow as you are racing, you should be able to run the entire race on one tank.

VIPER REAR SHOCK BROKE OFF UPDATE
Well just returned from the dealer with my Viper, they took care of the broken shock and the damage that it caused, they also replaced the track and reinstalled the 144 studs in the track...great dealer service from Nelsons Speed Shop, very happy as they took care of everything and checked on all service bulletins for the Viper...again great job guys at Nelsons

Yes, Yamaha could have played their cards a lot better as far as a lot of things go. The selective memory thing wears a little thin. Anybody remember the flawless launches of the Phazer and the Nytro? Bottom line, the best chassis with a Yamaha sticker on it EVER, fantastic motor. Yes a few QC issues, but the flippin sled works. Try to have a beer and relax. No one at Yamaha is" pounding their head in shame". The dealers sold more sleds than they have in years, they are selling parts, clothes etc. This sled was the only way Yamaha could get back in the game. Get out and ride the dang things!
LOL, I agree with 2lapsdown. Never thought that would happen!

LOL, reminds me of a funny from a couple weeks ago. The girlfriend and I do not race we just ride and sometimes pin the flapper of course. We are stopped on a long stretch of straight road that is somewhat chewed up just chatting. A Polaris Dragon comes by fighting the ruts and turns his head to give us a filthy look. OOOOK! I smiled at gf and we hit the gas. I think we were just over 70 when we screamed by him and left him in a cloud of snow. MAN that Viper and M8 are stable on rutted roads! When we slowed to look for him, and after the cloud of snow subsided he was gone....off somewhere else to ride a guess as having a girl dust him off probably didn't set to well.
YAMAHA!
