has anyone had paint chipping from the main mounting bracket that the brace from the stirring column mounts to. It is on top of the tunnel, under the seat right were the gas tank is formed in for it. On mine both sides are bubbling and chipping right off. just going to use some white touch up paint but it does look awful.

That looks like corrosion due to improper metal prep before paint OR allowing salt or moisture to be in constant contact.

Not yet but I plan to. Not sure if warranty would cover this but hoping so. The tunnel was iced up a couple rides ago after it melted off I notices the chips. Its always kept in a dry garage and cleaned after every ride. The metal that's chipping looks like cast pieces and the paint is not adhering.Did you take it to dealer to look at it? Warranty?
That's not chipping it's corrosion beneath the paint.

I will tell the dealer this. That would be a factory defect. Thank you. That's not chipping it's corrosion beneath the paint.

My Support bracket under seat chipped exactly like that but no bubbling. Touched it up a bit but you can see. Couple coats of the girls white fingernail polish works well. Just one coat in pic. FX like said the bubbling is corrosion or contamination. Will have to sand that off before painting.I will tell the dealer this. That would be a factory defect. Thank you.
