If you get a 7000 med windshield it will not fit without modifying either the shield or sled. I checked today. Problem is the lower wings on ac version no slots for the tabs on viper.

Put the AC mid height ws on today. Really wasn't that bad after the wings were removed. I only had to drill 2 holes in the black plastic near the headlight assy. The photos show the details. Note I did have to cover the AC decal that was built into the ws...

Thanks.. now for the AC mirrors that mount to this ws. This is the main reason I went with the AC ws. The AC ws mirrors do not fit on the Yamaha mid height ws.

Put 75 miles on today in -20 C. This stock windshield is terrible. The wind hits you from the crotch up and no way to hide from it. I have the mid sport windshield from yamaha on back order......hope it gets here soon

Cover with windshield

During the summer I found a Skinz cover on-line for a really good price. I did call Skinz first and asked them about the ability of the cover on the Viper Medium Sport Windshield (20.4) They were very honest and said that of course they did not have the availability to actual test the cover on a Viper with a 20.4 but he would get back to me. He called back and said they thought it would work.

Just waiting for the windshield. The cover is outstanding. Keep in mind that the Skinz cover is made from a lycra type material and does have the ability to stretch and mold around the sled and accessories. Just hoping it will not put too much stress on the windshield top.

Blu2U2 i cannot seem to find the WS mirrors for the mid height AC that you installed on your sled i want to do the same to mine, do you have the link to the mirrors?
