Viper Wiring Harness Extension

Have any of you used or installed the Viper hood wiring harness extension on their sled? Did you leave it installed or just hook it up when working on sled?
Is it worth the money? Can it be bought thru Yamaha or is there a aftermarket one out there?
Any in put or comments on it. Thanks

I've been making them for a couple years and have sold lots through ebay. I love it for working on the sled and leave it coiled in so I don't have to reach under the dash to try to unplug. This is nice so you can easily start it while working on anything with the hood off.
