Thinking hard on an RX-1 Mnt, modded up with a Turbo, ( want 10 lbs of boost) and a 159... among other things. Now... deciding what brand of turbo to get .... Hmmmm.... --Bob

Looks like one of the Johnny Skepticals is coming over to the 4-stroke camp. :lol: I don't think you will be sorry, the motor is awesome, and I don't even have a turbo on mine.

Johnny skeptical is right, till I saw Randys RX-1 in Revy at the big iron shootout. Well, his and about 5 others. I will definately want 10 lbs of boost or better. I stand corrected. RX-1s rock turboed. Stock, they are pathetic in the deep. The reliability thing has to enter into it too, although, Ive never had a seconds problem with the modded triples.

Loved my SRX, but I was born and bred on 4-strokes. RX-1 is heavier, but on the trails you don't notice it. I can understand your reluctance for use in the mountains, they say the "05" mountain sled is way better than the 03-04's. Turbo sure seems to be the way to make reliable power and cheaper than all out big bores.
