April 14th - 185Km in Taylor's Brook area, NL - the main trail is surprisingly good for not being groomed - but the trail into the gorge is brutal - had to turn back. Topped 3000Km for the season; 15781 total..
April 15th - changing the coolant - PITA trying to get all the old stuff out.
April 16th - Installed a new starter relay. #3 on this sled including original - should be good for another 7000Km.

Finished installing reverse. Not sure why it wasn't standard on all models, but problem solved.
Also did my oil change while it was torn apart. I'm now down to 3 screws holding my right side cover on...

Rolled the sled down a hill. Busted the headlight, bent some metal and got some new cracks in the plastic. Another great day of riding.

Finally got around to installing my rear cooler today.
Job went great and while I had everything apart I decide to adjust my rear flap so that it angled back more and didn't get caught or hit the ground while unloading it from the trailer.
(Just drilled out the rivets that attached to the tunnel and bent it up and out in my vise instead of removing the flap rivets)
Does the rear flap play a part in directing snow up on the exchanger?
I have seen flaps angled back more than mine was so I am now curious if it is angled back too far?
(before and after pics below, plus new cooler)
(3rd pic is new flap location, 4th is old or stock location)

Switched the track from a backcountry with 9000 kms on it, to a brand new Backcountry Race with 0 kms on it
The rear cooler is a must. No more temp lights.

It does, I put the extra long race flap on my rev that used to run with the temp gauge just above half way. With the flap it ran at 1/4 no matter what the conditions. Yours looks good though. I wouldn't think you would have any issue. And like you said, i too have seen people with their flaps pointed straight back.
And I moved my sled to sweep under it. Yea!

Your snow flap angle looks just like Yamaha uses now. I dont think you will have any issues.
