Welcome home brother! Your contact with Yamaha was right on . He said you would be back with Yamaha. Nice sled choice . It is the exact sled I would have chosen but I am going to wait one year and pay down on the Z06 this year.

Black/Orange LTX 137se for me !!!
You all know Black/Orange is bad azz, but yall to blue loyal to admit it? I love White/blue or Blue/White !!
Just need a change "we all can use that every once and awhile".
Good God I love summer, but dam cant wait for winter and thats saying alot for me. Been waiting for this machine for 10 years when I got tired of replacing headers on the RX1 and Apex turbos.

I ordered a LTX LE in the red. I wanted the orange & black....but the shocks were the deciding factor. I've been down the SE road before with my Apex....and had to basically sign my three kids over to HyGear to get it upgraded. (kidding...HyGear did right by me and I highly recommend them...they turned my death machine into a smooth, controllable missile)
100% sure on adding Curves with the slim jims, and replacing the rear tri-hub. As one member pointed out....the white rails are going to really look bad when the grime builds up...especially since I like to spray silicone on my skid, (at least on the Apex, to fight ice build-up) but i'll figure that out down the road.

On the SE, keep in mind the Chassis is Cat and every Procross I've ever ridden has been awesome. I didn't think the shock were going to be worth the extra money in this chassis so I went with the the Black/Orange RTX SE.I ordered a LTX LE in the red. I see only 35 % went with the premium Red/ white. Curious as they are known to be faster, smoother, and handle better. just wondering WHY so many are not making the UPGRADE? One would think if your buying the best sled you would get the premium package

I agree...I think heavier riders benefit from the better shock packages. At 170 pounds, I couldn't justify to extra expense either.
I went with the FASTEST model: Black/Orange RTX SE with 129 inch track from Gary's Yamaha, Caribou, Maine.
