come from factory whit 0/30 and recommend 0/40 full after break in.

break in will take as long as 1500-2000km,but first oil change is 1000-1200km.after that ,you're ready for an optimal oil that will protect your 20000.00 bucks engine.

looking for opinions on this also...servicing a customers sled soon...dealers say comes with 0w40 syn from factory and book says 0w30 semi..is it ok to go to full syn at first service or run 1 more change semi?

I don't know how many know this but if you use yamalubeadvantage.com they will warranty motor for 100,000 miles. Just register sled and document everything and you are good to go. Hard to beat this at any price!
