05 Warrior/CPR turbo - 2554 w/headshim running 12lbs
17.5 pilots/2 1/4 turns on fuel screws
needles raised 1/red springs
132.5 mains

A/F reads as follows
idle 17-18+ (guage goes to --- over 18)
mid 13.6 -14.1
Full throttle 12.1 - 12.6

Okay, the sled seems to runs fine it just seems a little mushy just off idle. Doesn't pop or anything just seems a little mushy. Could just be because of the the .080 head shim too.. Once I get to about 2500 - 3500 rpm it gets back to 13.5 - 14 on the a/f guage.

Do you think it would be worth it for me to change the pilot jets from 17 to the next size of 20 w/screws at 2 ? Or am I being too picky and since it isn't popping or anything just drive it?? Geez I hate pulling these carbs...
Thanks
Tony

Ditto.

Have you synced your carbs lately? May help the low end some. Have you checked the float hight, they play a part at low end. Stock setting is 13 mm.
When everything is checked and adjusted and still lean off idle, go up to 20 pilots.

Put in 20 pilots and go to 1.25 to 1.5 turns out on the fuel screws, and bump the mains up.
