what track to put on 2023 srx

I tried that stiffer center shock spring and found it really changed my ride quality. I went back the original one.
I think the spring difference (heavier) works better for heavy riders. (guys over 250lbs)

The SRX (21/41) is about 6-7 MPH faster than the T-Cat (24/50) on paper which is likely the real world as all other factors are equal.

Taking gears only into account.

In 1000ft or so (with equal traction) the 24/50 is a good choice for my bone stock 2022 Tcat. I like 21/38 on my 2014 ZR9 with a 300hp tune. Not sure what I will run when I boost the Tcat.

X2.. I’m 210 without gear and original spring is way more plush over the bumps.

Yup! I'm 275lbs and I tried the heavier spring and found it made the ride worse. I Actually valved the front shock softer on the hi-speed side and the ride became less choppy !

2017 stock Winder,185lb rider, cat center spring, no transfer blocks/rod. Couldn't possibly be any happier. Lol.
Odd man out.
I'm considered a "fair weather" rider. I don't go anywhere until I see picks.

Maybe it's because the front track shock is absolutely abysmal without a clicker.

I run the cat 160/260 center spring with just a couple turns of preload and like it a lot.
One turn on that spring can find the sweet spot for a persons weight and riding style.

Who do you think I got the 160/260 center spring idea from?!?! Haha
Couldn't be happier! Thanks.....

what track to put on my new 2023 srx
i like ice attak xt and the ice storm 150
or should i just 144 stud the 1" track and try it
this is 1st sidewinder ive owned
always had apexs with ice attak tracks
aggressive riding with a tune later
and any durability problems with the 2 tracks as i ride 5000miles a year
thanks
The storm 150 is an excellent track but doesn't hold up i would go with a 1.75 back country with as many IGRIPS you can get in it

so i think im sold on ice storm 150 but it only has 144 ice picks
i think the ice attak xt has 244
all the ice tracks are 1 ply so i dont know what to thinkl
Just get the storm 150 and get the igrips from Patrick put in 240-320 it hooks up good just too bad the track delaminates around 2500 miles

Been saying this for a bit.
The Storm worked well for me but stretched out and lugs folded over with a 240/270 tune.

IMO, if u want longevity, especially w a tune, hard to beat 1-1/4" Ripsaw2 studded. Been riding at 300+ tune for years. No issues.

Ice attack tracks are not a long life with high power. I’d go with the 144-168 studs in a non ice storm or in a ripsaw 2 1.5”. Kinda wish I went storm for mine but playing on the lakes had me rethink it. Sounds like you wanted the ltx le not the srx.
