I replaced mine with 1300 miles but did it because i was bored and couldnt ride. I believe mine would have went 2000 miles anyway. Front wheel kit helps.

I am not sure we have a problem unless we feel we need to have lots of hyfax wear above the wear line. Now as you have read above they all wear down to the line and stay there. They just don't look like new, I have just decided to change them each season and I worry much less about it every year. I have a total of 30,000 miles on my 'fleet' of Yamahas over the last years
