That thread will talk about the sag or spring ride height for the front shocks?

Plus ever since I saw a artic cat one morning outside our hotel leaning to one side because the fox seals wore out I was hestitant to put anything on there that may impact a trip like that. A good ole spring albiet heavier wont leave ya stranded. Although I bet that is a rare occurance with all the floats out there.
Yeah Ive seen that before also. My freind owns a big shock service shop here in ny. Here will not sell or service anything to do with fox floats, hes says they are horrible products to deal with and he wants no part of them any more..

Guess what guys, springs break too, and when they do, those sleds with spring can also leave ya just as stranded.......
Actually, I bet Floats won't leave ya stranded any more often than spring-based shocks.
BTW -- Mike Carver from Carver Performance run Float 2's all around on his Nytro RTX. He is very well known and respected in the shock business. If Fox Floats sucked, he wouldn't sell them or run them.
I have Float 2's on my Mnt Viper, and GYTR's on my Attak GT. They are both awesome shocks, each one better in their own right, for different applications. But if I had to chose, I'd take Floats......

So after reading everything ...Seems like I should not bother looking for a set of gytr shocks to replace my Fox air's...... But damn the gytr's are just so cool looking...

They are both great shocks, but both have major plus, and major minus'. Depends which fits your riding style.
I bought brand new gytr's from a guy on here for 350.00 to my door, then had my friend take them to his shop and work his magic with the staging and valving in them to fit my riding style. Over it cost me 400.00 for basically new custom shocks built for me.
