Who wants to swap 49 gear and chain for 41 gear and chain?

I took the 41 gear and chain off our Viper at about 200 miles and put other gearing in. Now I wish to gear down my modded Viper and would trade the 41 gear and chain for a 49 gear and chain. Some of you LE guys might want this.

41 bottom gear... hmmmmm, interesting. Can I ask how it worked for you? I assume you pulled it cause it wasn't low enough for you at elevation? I have been thinking of goin lower....

Both sleds pulled very well, but you know...lower gearing means more power to the ground. My Blue Viper has 21/41 right now with 7 tooth drivers which is roughly 93mph. With a 21/49 with 7 tooth I would be at roughly 78 MPH and really with a 3 inch lug 162 track that should be more than enough. Very few areas where I ride to go over 75mph safely, and the Camoplast X3 starts doing the watusi about 70mph

Our Red Viper has 21/50 gearing with stock 8 tooth drivers for roughly 87mph.

Both sleds 3.0 pitch track of course.

So you have 21/49 stock right? If so gearing up for the turbo might not be a bad idea.

Ya it should be 21/49. I havent had it apart yet to verify, but it should be.
Idk if 1.95 would be to low...

i have 24/50 and run out at about 108 on trail conditions (ice 115). i might be willing to trade the chain and 50 tooth for your 41 and chain. how hard is the install? not sure if i would gain any speed though, might be to high and just loose mid. hurricane 190 kit. would like to see 115-120 on trail.

21/50 chain won't fit right, one chain is too tight other is too loose. Our red Viper is 21/50 and I had to mod the adjuster and do not want to do that again.
