windshield brace install

i'm installing a Yamaha tall w/s with braces. does anyone have pics of the install job or installed? the pics in the instructions are very unclear and i don't want screw up the body panel. thanks

Not the best pic and they are not the best set up. The braces are in the way and a pain when you have to dismantle for routine maintainece of the sled. I wish they could have offered a better set up. I think the need for the brkts stems from an underengineered headlight pod mount.

do you think the braces are nessesary? can i get by without them or will that problems?

the brackets are deff. needed for the tall windshield, it is kind of a hokey setup but without them, the windshield will fold over backwards and lift the headlight up out of usefulness.
