Yes that is what I meant, it allows the snow flap and of coarse the rear cooler to catch more snow.
Last ride this weekend at Parlin Pond area. Trails were frozen for the first hour, after that they were nice and soft with 50 degree weather. Lowered my suspension settings to 1 right away and left them there. LE comes out of the hole nice in those wet heavy snow conditions. Lifts skis and gets.
As RockerDan stated, lot's of under hood heat on these, especially the turbo side. Had stopped to chat and took off my side panels to check stuff out. Right panel was hot to hold, so yeah in those conditions probably best to take that goggle bag off, but I didn't. Was not running hard, just having fun on my last day
Took it across Parlin pond by the lodge where the trail goes, got 116 on speedo and still climbing on that short stretch, part slush and semi hard pack so I was very impressed. The work that Woodys did to this seemed to wake it up a bit.
Better mileage, better throttle response and feels faster, but wow that clutch is loud when you turn it on in the deep!
