Hi guy's,
If you have the updated impellar cover you might want to look at it. I noticed mine was broak on the top where the little plastic fins are. I think the little peices went right out the exhaust. You won't be able to feel it or hear it. So just take a look. If you would like to see what I am talking about e-mail me and I will send you some pictures.
I would have put them on here but I don't know how.

I sent it out to you. The only problem I got an reply back from some one that wanted to know why I sent those pictures to him.

In the pics there appears to have been an impact.....

I must admit, the webbing is thinner on the outside.
I am thinking that if your housing is tight against the side panel, you need to remove the inner panel's foam. I don't recall if that was part of the instructions, but I removed mine upon install.
I think that is clearly Jmac's problem, imo.

Yes the webbing is thinner on the outer side. That is the problem its not the foam....... G-force sent me a new one. One that has been updated to fix this problem. They new about it before I called Danny. This was an engineering mistake. I had to send them my old one back. I paid 200.00 to udate the old one and then paid again 10.00 to get the updated one. now 2410.00 in this kit. I hope it will hold up now. I am getting tired of paying and testing this kit.... I shouldn't have had to pay anything.

Thanks87gtnos, I come on here to let guy's know that they might want to check their's so that they won't encounter some problems and this is the thanks I get. I can show you the e-mail from Danny stating that it was an engineering problem.
Thanks,Buddy

jmac...see it as you wish.

The unit is about an inch from the sled's side cover when the foam is removed.

The broken part on yours is not 'mechanical' so to speak. It doesn't move, or have anything to disturb it.

That is why I think an impact caused the breaking...or pushing on it to install it.

I don't mean to say what you say isn't true.

Jmac, I do appreciate your report. I carefully looked mine over, and will keep an eye on it. 600+ miles so far with success.

Thats because what I said is true...
How do you know it is an inch away did you crawl inside and measure it. It broke due to vibration and the lack of thickness. That is why it is made different know.
Why point blame on me when I am not the ony one that had this problem.

So far so good with mine. I've got 988 miles on it now and I take the panels off and inspect it every couple of rides.. I hope if they are admitting there is a problem with this part they should send everyone a new one.. Not sure if that is their plan or not but I sure don't want to suck plastic through the motor..

Like I said I take my panels off every couple of rides and inspect everything with a flashlight and a mirror. So far, so good.... My one biggest reason for buying this kit was the "plug and play" feature. I don't want to mess with it and wrench all the time..

Mr Pitstop,
I am glad to hear that.
I to wanted a plug and play system. I just didn't get that lucky. I had 3 different parts break on me. But there is just so many weeks in a season and either your waiting for snow or it is cold (like today 9 below).
I assume you got the updated kit for $200.00. If I were you I would pay the $9.00 it will cost you and get the updated cover. What will happen if it fails next year. It could cost you $200.00 to get it then. I am just guessing at the price. If you like I will send you a pictures of mine.
I am realy glad that you have had no problems.
What are you seeing for top speeds with your trail terminators? I have never tried a set of these where do you buy them?

The trail terminator kit comes from sled-werx in canada. I'm still playing with clutching but its just too cold to do anything this weekend and Im working 12 hour shifts all week so it will be next weekend at least before I get out on the lake to play again. I have not been able to get the radar gun on the sled yet but I've seen 126 on a good smooth run.. I think theres potential for more with more space and a good ice track. Also Im just shy of 300lbs so that takes an extra HP or two to push.. I've been having fun with it, just hope I keep having good luck and don't see these problems. Im gunna email Danny about a new impeller cover..

I talked to Danny last week about the cracked webbing. He did say the webbing ended up thinner than it was engineered to be however they are not sure yet if they are cracking from vibration or if people pushed on them to get the housing snapped on to the backing plate and started the cracking. Mine is not cracked yet but i only have about 500 mi on since installing the new cover. I would recommend every one check theirs and then we will be able to tell if they are cracking after the install or if it came from the install. I will check mine again tomorrow. G-Force is watching it close and if there is a problem i would suspect they will take care of it as they did with the earlier problem's. So far mine is running very strong!!! kviper
