I just mounted yamaha mountain skis on my new 2009 XTX, haven't even broke it in yet, that will be this weekend. My question is after mounting them with the correct bolts and spacers for the mountain skis, I discovered the rubber spacer between the ski and the pin that runs through the ski move from side to side within the cup for the mountain ski. It takes some effort to make the ski move but my thinking is that during riding the skis will move along that pin since there seems to be some play. Anyone with Yamaha mountain skis have this issue?

The spacers are in there, but the washers are not, I'll take them off and reassemble with the washers. Thanks

mountain ski
the mountain ski has a different rubber mount for under the spindle also, because they have a bigger opening, i had to buy some last year.

The xtx rubber will work ok in the mountain ski, I have ran it for over 1000 miles and it seems to stay put fine. The mountain rubber would be best though.
