How does it feel? That’s a stiff spring but really depends what you’re doing with the sled.I have a dalton black/lime now with 46/36. Hole 3
Dalton white or AC green is usually the go to

Feels fast and works great but maybe best for trail and lake riding. Im looking for something with better acceleration for lake/drag race on snowHow does it feel? That’s a stiff spring but really depends what you’re doing with the sled.

I would run your straight 44 with the green spring in the middle hole.Feels fast and works great but maybe best for trail and lake riding. Im looking for something with better acceleration for lake/drag race on snow
Have your ramps 2- A
2-B

I agree with above but would try to run as little spring as possible
I say hole 1 softest
The more angle and less spring the quicker the upshift and that’s what you’re looking for
Don’t need any backshift

No issues with a 46/36 or 50/40 and sno pro green at 375 hp trail riding . Biggest issue with that much hp on the trail is traction

Drag racing you’re going up though correct? He’s not trail riding and I agree on trail with you
He’s drag racing
Have you tried snow shovels that screw on the stud
Mixing those in on some of the bigger hp machines for snow and trail ridding
What length is the sled also
144 I assume
There’s a trail machine here that’s working well like that and hooks but can’t always use antilag
Set a record at a track here in trail class at 118 in 400 ft

No issuse with the 46/36 at all, works great But was looking tips for a clutch setup for drag/lake racing with more acceleration, 200-300m. My sled is 153 inch and setup for trails

I’m running a 450hp big turbo mcx kit with 4 arm stm and stock secondary . Running 39/35 helix with black tan spring but I’m still working on getting it dialed in

Double check your boost and RPM. Your sled should be mental if it truly has 400+ hp. We have a drag viper that makes 450ish horse and it pulls away from a 300 horse sidewinder at the same rate a 300 horse sidewidner pulls a stock 800cc sled. STM primary with stock secondary, 50/43 helix and purple spring.
I tryed a 50/44 with purple spring in hole 3 (middle hole) in stm secondary clutch but the belt slipped in secondary clutch, It was rubber marks in clutch.
How much extra weight are you running in the TAPP from stock? Plus 2 rollers? You want to put weight on the roller bolts and get some of the weight off the arms. When are you slipping the belt? Let's see the pics of the sheaves. Down low on the sheaves you need more spring or a lower finish on that helix for more high speed belt grab.
