Question for the guru's on this site. I'm currently running yamaheaters on my 2010 XTX and the heating elements keep blowing. At first they worked excellent then the right side went out, replaced it, all was fine again then the next ride the left side went out? I'm a little confused as I thought yamaheaters would be the solution! I've been using stock yamaha elements on the bars, should I be using another brand(RSI) or does this seem to be another issue?

Thks, YammyBob

Rock = Mr. Yamaheater

He's basically going to tell you that the OEM warmers are not crap, rather when the factory installs them they may have a kink, and that's where it will burn up. The reason they are burning up now, is because the yamaheater is actually putting power (aka heat) to your grips.

I blew one of mine after the Yamaheater install. I switched to RSI's just for the bit extra heat and they are cheaper.

When you install your new warmers, make sure there are no kinks and nice and smooth around the bars. Get someone to help you if you can.

While your in there spray foam ur bars, its helps a bit.
