Going to purchase a used zx2. I need mounting plate and 136 extension on the website does not list pricing anymore for these items. Does anybody now what the cost will be?

Hi, not sure on price of the extension but this is there dealer http://www.2mmotorsports.com I think they are out of stock until Nov 9 but give him a call and see, (Mathieu D'Amours) seemed to be a good guy to deal with when I talked to him. There is a guy in the misc. classified with the mounting plate for sale, mdkuni I think...
Have fun with the skid, I'm looking forward to mine...

I get on http://www.2mmotorsports.com they do not do break down on the pricing for the extension. Now its one price for everything. If there out of stock why are they selling the kits on ebay its show them having then in stock

I have seen the mounting plates in the misc. the sale was pending.

I have found the pricing just use the search button on 2mmotosports website.

Call directly ADBoivin, there is a modification on the front arm that can be made to improve confort.
they make a bigger slot on front arm fixation.
A most for 136" Yamaha.

I would be interested to hear more on this mod. I have a 136" ZX2 in my Attak.

Could you expalin what is done to the front arm alittle? Picture would be great.

I emailed them this afternoon Denis Boivin replied with the following

"This special slotted front swingarm is only for trail riders using mountain sled 144 inch track and up. Not for your 136.

On your 136, in order to have the maximum of the ZX2, 3 hints:

- work with a loose track as possible (internal and external drive sprocket highly recommended);
- keep the front of your sled at the lowest position possible. Try to have the front suspension table parallele to the floor;
- spring rate: have the best one in function of your weight."

He tries this on my uncle's sled, 136" and it improves the confort on trail.
He was one of the first to try this, 2 years ago.

Anybody now off hand how much broker fees will be from canada for buying a zx2 suspension?

Does anybody have a picture of a blue zx2 installed?

I am having a devil of a time finding 151" hyfax for the zx2.

Whats the length of slide do you need? The ones i got i had to cut like 3-5" off if i remember correctly... I have the 144.. I also have the item number posted on here somewhere and i got them front shadetree power sports, so it would work for anything 144" and smaller for sure... You could call them with measurements and they can see if they have ones long enough...

As for style its an old oem profile #8 slide that ski doo used to make for the 94-96 sc4 suspension.. Ad bought the patent and cut... So they basically have garland make the slides for them....

I just ordered from 2m extension kit, adapter plate and hyfax those are not cheap $75.00 for two.

How long are the after market hyfax lasting?
