They sleds are new, and I've seen few used. The new price might not be out the door. You may need to include tax and freight/prep. The $6500 seems reasonable to me. The sled sounds hardly used. And is about $1500 off the OTD new prices I found.

For the RX-1 vs Vector decision... Find a Yamaha demo-fest and go ride em. I did. The folks were really helpful and friendly. And you can ride and decide for your self. No pressure, no hassle.
