Can't really compare the two sleds as I have never ridden a Nytro. I can tell you if you love to ride groomed trails all day long and ride hard then then the LTX is the way to go. It provides an ultra plush ride with great handling characteristics even in it's stock form. For a few extra...
No it won't hurt the shock! With out the wire connected you will not be able to adjust the compression on the shock but the shock will perform to the last compression setting you had it on.
Ride it with what you have already decided to put on it first. Everyone will have there own opinion on what these machines need based on there riding style and the conditions they ride in. Save your money, ride your machine, decide on what you think you need, pick out the product then ask for...

Very possible, however they would need to add additonal vinyl to the original seal cover to achieve the desired shape. Try adding the foam first you can always get it changed later if your still not satisfied.
I agree with NB-Snowgoer, Yamaha needs to issue a recall or update on the right side y-pipe and donuts. Last night my buddy came over complaining about his loud exhaust on his 05 RX-1. I took the exhaust apart and found both donuts on the right side completely gone and the left side was...
Doesn't seem right to me. I personally changed my oil and filter, draining both the bottom of the engine and the oil tank. When I filled the system it took close to 3 1/2 bottles of oil. I wouldn't worry too much about it... now you know better for the next time. I don't have much faith in...
You need to remove the metal collar from the jack shaft. There is a small set screw on the side of the collar you need to loosen first. Once you have done this the collar should slide off providing its not seized.
