Asselstines local to me has had all the parts I need at the beginning of the season and after my little incident. If they didn't have it they took it off a sled on the floor or had it within 3 days for me and called me to let me know it was in.
I find I get nautious following them for too long and I ride MX but it doesn't seem to affect me then. Followed an 800etec last weekend and could hardly wait to get in front.
I'm studded 171 and using a 6s 4r with the limiter strap pulled up 1 hole. The steering is a little harder than I'd like but boy does this thing turn now!
I really like the adjustability of the gytrs compared to a float. Preload/compression/rebound as opposed to just adding and removing pressure. It's much quicker to make an adjustment as well instead of just living with it because you don't want to pull the pump out you turn a couple knobs and...
This is it. If you have other specific questions ask away. Most of the basic stuff is covered in this section.

You could remove the caliper and use mild soap and water to clean the pistons, they should free up and if you push them in and out a few times while cleaning it'll remove most of the build up on the seals/pistons.
If you put a paint mark on the cam sprocket and chain and don't let the chain move on the crank it is possible to remove the head without resetting the timing. It's obviously much better to set it properly but in a pinch or when setting valve clearances this will work you just have to be very...
I'm going to do the frame as a last resort. I don't really have the cash to replace everything right before Xmas so I'll try bending the subframe back, replace the a-arm and ski then fix it properly in the spring.
Well I bent her good! I got intimate with a massive rock on Friday night doing about 15km/h. It's my second season on sleds and I guess my dirtbike instinct kicked and was only paying attention to my bars fitting through the opening when I nicked the rock. I hit the left side of the ski, bent...
Oh, sorry for the confusion, I was under the impression that this was one from yamaha. That sounds right about the oil...hopefully it doesn't screw up the charger running regular 10-30 in it. We had to add oil and were at the cottage right now with limited supplies.
Really? His has an extra tank with lines running to the S/C on a dry sump system. We called the dealer and apparently just regular oil works. First ride was yesterday and we put 200km on it so well see what happens today, either way one of the seals is leaking so it'll be going back to the dealer.
