XF7000 is a 137" track. XTX is 141"

I too had those concerns when I bought my 2012 XF, but all of the force is on the lower a-arms not the upper. Have yet to see that upper mount even so much as come slightly loose. They do have a cross brace like a car strut tower brace.

They have done major changes to the tank, just by looking at the photos the fuel pump and return line are in way different locations.

If it uses the same ECU type that Cat uses on the Turbo sleds, it could be a great thing since it is a writable ECU, could easily recalibrate and flash the ecu for more power when combined with other go-fast parts. I am sure D&D will be working on parts in the near future since they deal with...

I know this is a Yamaha forum, with true blue Yamaha members, but come on. Did everyone forget about the Nytro?? WHat a mess, how much do ball joints cost that last a year, maybe two, and bushings that are junk, subframes that fold up, ski's that are a joke, handwarmers that do nothing, tunnels...

I'll take a stab here. I owned a XTX, and tossed allot of money at it to make it do something it never was going to do, (ride and handle). I never was left stranded but the wearable items at the end of the season were terrible. I bought a XF1100 Turbo and trail rode it last year for 1300 miles...

You are correct, no chassis issues that I know of. My buddy and I both bought new 2012 XF turbos together and mine was about flawless while his has been plagued with issues, and even with all the issues he has a hard time even thinking about getting rid of it, sure when it breaks he is pissed...

It does not need it, I own one. Why add more electronics and weight to a sled that doesn't need it. I never felt that the PC had bad steering feedback at all.

Here, I own one, I think I can speak on behalf of a sled that I have a fair amount of experience both trail and race.

Oh, please show me some facts on this!!! The 1100 motor is strong, and I personally have never heard of an engine failure in stock form, maybe with the boost turned up. Now the chassis is another story, I will be sad to see the 1100 go, but hope Yamacat can come up with an even better replacement.

For all the people that want a power adder sled, I am sure its in the works. AC has bought enough Zuki turbo motors to last till next year or even 2015, but after that they will rely on Yamaha to fill that void, with that said Yamaha would be dumb not to use the same motor for an Apex...

I would imagine around 550 dry, the turbo XF was 547 dry, and about 650 ready to ride. But with this chassis you DO NOT feel the weight, its unreal how balanced it is.

All I can say is your going to love the PC chassis. I may end up with a Viper or Cat equivalent. Looking for a trail sled as I turned mine into a race sled this year.

Can't wait to here all the people rave about this sled once they ride this chassis, I tell ya that a Nytro motor in the PC chassis will absolutely ROCK.
