When riding this wkn I noticed a vibration feeling about 6000 to 7000 rpm or around 15 to 30mph. This seems to happen only in deep heavy snow. The track is tight so it is not skipping. When I am wide open and rev 8600 in the deep stuff it is fine. Can't alway ride wot in some areas. Is there...
Hey Rock things seem to be working now. Not sure what happen but I untaped my wires and found the switch wire and cut it and tested it with a ohm meter and there was nothing wrong with it. So I heat shrunk the wires back together and now the switch is working again. Not sure why it stopped in...
SJ you said I must adjust the centre shock also if I adjust my front end. How much should I tighten the centre shock from stock if I have the front end set to max. ( The sled just rides better at max where I ride )I want to set the sled up for 210 with gear.
I just tried to have my front springs loose and without rattle. The problem is the front end will always bottom out coming over a big approach. I tried all adjustments on the comp and rebound. I even turned the spring to max and comp all in and it will still bottom out the odd time.
I have the same prob. My hands got hot for the first time so I turned the switch off and the grips still stayed hot. I tried switching the grips off with the light green and red (when the yamaheater and boost is on ) and they did not turn off.
Also in the service manual it gives spring length for all the shocks. Is the measurement taken with sled on the ground or lifted so there is no load on the springs.
How do I know if I have it too stiff or soft. I adjusted it a little to take some ski pressure off. The reason I ask is that when I come off an approach and there is a bump on the other side it feels like I bottom out, or is it too stiff and not takeing the bump? Jumped on a rev and did not...
Put a small straight edge on it. Also look where the A arm bolts on If the plate on the bottom of the sub frame is bent you have problems. Its the flat plate with approx 3" hole in the middle
Find a small straight edge a put it on the lower A arm. It will help you tell where the bend is. Mine was between the the sway bar and spindle. It bent up and twisted back. Tried to straighten it on a press. Did not work but helped. The frame looks ok but I guess I will know more when I put...
The small arm (stabilizer joint) is bent. There was some bark on it. It is just hard to see where the real damage is. Where the arms attach to the frame don't seem to be bent. Also ebay does not have any used a arms
