Quick question... I have a '14 Viper LTX DX , will I need to remove the skid to change the sliders or will they fit threw the holes in the track ? I'll likely end up going with regular sliders rather than Duponts. I fully believe in Duponts on other Yamaha's that love to eat their sliders, but...

I wasn't too impressed last year with my staggered carbides. I found the steering a little on the heavy side and if the trails weren't hard packed i'd push through the corners every time and not feel in control. If the trails were hard packed it cornered well. I ran the Qualipieces Cobra Head...

All done, Not 100% crazy about it, they are 2" high and 6" long. They look much better than what was there.. may tweak them again at later date, but good for now. I had pics of my sled in a previous post, they had the MTO fugly numbers on it then.

I've never been able to find official documentation on it. I've always gone by what the OPP have said on the trail and finding the best visible fit. All I've been told is that they must be clearly visible in block letters in a solid contrasting colour. Now... how many sleds have you seen that...

Thats on todays list for me. Cut some vinyl numbers and put them on. The dealer put the numbers on that the MTO gives. (not pretty). Need to go out and take some measurements and design some new ones. I'll post a pic once I'm done.

How many miles/km's are people getting on the stock sliders ? on my previous Phazer i would go through a set of sliders every 500-1000km's (depending on conditions). I put Duponts on it about 3000km's ago and they may have worn 1/8th of an inch since. To me they are the best thing in the world...
