I keep a little tube of valve grinding compound in my toolbox.Put a little dab on the fastener in question,and the grit will grip the nut/bolt like you can't believe! Try it! Jay
I saw a guy that had a large rental operation tow in a down summit by himself.He tied the ski loop of the down sled up tight to the rear bumper of the good sled and took off! Looked goofy but worked GREAT! Jay
I just read someone had installed "o" rings inside the tube to keep it from poping out! I superglued mine in,BEFORE I read that! I'd try the O ring first! Jay
BE CAREFULL using reverse to remove slides,I had the damn hyfax slide forward on the rail and bust off the rail end cap.First and last time that's going to happen.I peel mine off with vice grips,not ard and NOT dangerous! Jay
