I have a issue with my 05 rs venture. The hand and thumb warmer are not displaying on screen. And fuel gauge flashing constantly. Not sure where to start to look. The hand warmer seem tk work wheb idling. Just not displaying on screen. Here as a photo of it. Bought it for 180p. Not running. Spark plugs were fouled. 8200 kms.

Check to see if the fuel sender is plugged in, the guage will flash if the connector has been left unplugged.

if fuel gauge sending unit is plugged in, odds are the sending unit itself is bad. hand and thumb warmer use the same gauge so it might be a case of that needs to work 1st before it will switch to the other displays.

Correct, when I had an issue with my sending unit, the tell tale sign was the flashing fuel gauge; even when fully filled.Could be sender issue like RobX-1 said.

I was able to clean up the contact surface so that as you moved the contact across it, it would read normally but ultimately, there was still a bad spot that once the contact came in contact with that section of the contact surface, the fuel gauge would begin to flash and had to be replaced:

Might be related to the PO's janky wiring work as you showed in your other thread about TORS.
