RECIEVED ABOUT 10 INCHES OF SNOW YESTERDAY. TOOK THE NEW APEXGT OUT FOR A RIDE WITH MY FRIEND AND HIS NEW MACHZX. MY SLED WAS BRAND NEW AND HIS HAD ABOUT 40 MILES ON IT SO WE BASICALLY DROVE THEM AROUND FOR COUPLE OF HOURS EASING INTO THE THROTTLES SO I COULD BREAK MINE IN SOMEWHAT,TRADING RIDES FROM TIME TO TIME. HE LIKED MY SLED ALOT AND I THOUGHT HIS WAS NICE OTHER THAN THE SMELL. HE WAS ITCHING TO RUN ME SO WE WENT UP THE AIRPORT AND WENT FOR IT. I HAD A REAL BAD FEELING IN MY STOMACH LIKE I WAS GOING TO GET KILLED, EVEN THOUGH MY SLED FELT PEPPIER THAN HIS.YOU KNOW THE 170 HORSE THING IS INTIMIDATING.WE MARKED OFF THREE TENTHS ON OUR ODOMETERS LAID DOWN SOME CONES AND WENT FOR IT.WE RAN 4 TIMES AND EACH TIME THE OUTCOME WAS THE SAME. APEX JUMPED OUT AHEAD APROX 1 TO 2 SLED LENGTHS MACH CAME BACK TO MY BACK BUMPER AND WE STAYED THAT WAY PAST THE FAR CONE WHICH WAS MORE THAN A QUARTER MILE AWAY.I FULLY EXPECTED HIM TO BLOW BY ME AT 80 OR 90 MPH.HE COULDN,T BELIEVE IT. MY SPEEDO WAS HOVERING ABOUT 120 AT THE END OF THE RUN AND HE SAID HIS WAS AT 115.I KNOW THEY AREN'T THAT ACCURATE, ESPECIALLY MINE.BOTH SEDS HAD 1.25 RIPSAWS WITH 144 1.325 GOLDDIGGERS UP THE MIDDLE.BOTH WERE STOCK WITH NO CLUTCH KITS. I WEIGH 225 HE WEIGHS ABOUT 235. EACH SLED HAD ABOUT A HALF TANK.TEMP 19 DEGREES,PACKED DOWN 10 INCH SNOW BASE OVER A HARD GRASS RUNWAY.CAN,T WAIT TO INSTALL MY ULMER STAGE 2 CLUTCH KIT NEXT WEEK. WILL KEEP YOU POSTED IF WE STILL HAVE SNOW. THIS SLED ROCKS!!!!!! way quicker than my 03 and 05 rx1's

10 miles north of the sacandaga lake. My friend couldn't believe it happened. He was also in denial when the video of that race between the sweedish rx1(apex) and the mach z showed up on this website and others a while ago.Excuses ,excuses, now he wants a cudney clutch kit.Finally found the caps lock. have a college degree and can't type!!!!!

Geez maybe now someone will believe me,and i was comparing the gade 1000 to the apex shorty same thing only on the gade it was 4 lengths,we are going out as i write its 6am now and my attak vrs apexgt i weigh 240 dressed and buddy 160 dressed we shall see,i totally exspect he will pull me,but you never know,later today i will report.

I feel for you Wolfie, I just got my ER last week and the waiting sucked. Back in 2002 I had to wait till Christmas Eve to pick up my Cross Country Cat and I vowed I would never wait that long again. I have about twenty miles on my sled now and it's everything they said it will be and more. I hope you get yours sooner then your dealer told you.

Do you know what RPM the Z was running at. My cousin got an O6 Z and he had to chnge the clutch setting as his was overreving. The Mach Z needs to turn 7850 to be 170 horse. If it runs a couple hundred RPM over that it loses 20-30 HP. I hope my GT is as fast as his Z. I haven't had a chance to drive mine yet but his Z is very fast.

From what i could tell when i drove it it was a tad below 8000 , this is what he verified also. Does your friend have studs. If not it will spin and overrev. We will go out this afternoon and lower his clicker. will keep you posted.Ialso played with my clutch last nite.Mine was undereving at about 10000 on that long quarter mile run.

great report fourload,my rtx has been in since mid october,but im closing on a house and cant get the sled till after i sign papers i do get to take my bro's attack though what an awsome machine
