07 Phazer Tunnel Close out Kit

I bought a used FX this summer. all the updates seem to have been done on the sled. The tunnel is open so that must have been an optional update.

I'm looking to close off the tunnel. looks like there is an official Yamaha Parts kit that includes more than just the close out plate about $100. Also found Smith Bros kit that is only the close out plate for $60. Could also locally source a piece of aluminum to close out the tunnel.

Anyone know what is included in the factory kit?

I installed the Yamaha kit on mine and there is alot of extra heat shielding. Never a problem in over 6,500 kms.

I have attached the Service Bulletin for the rear tunnel close kit which lists all the parts.

Thanks for all the data. I ordered the factory closeout kit from PartsPak last week. Got it in on Thursday and Installed it this weekend. Also replaced the fuel pump relay with the new solid state relay. We got 2 inches on Thursday night.. Let it snow....
