is that really true 2-3 hp???

Yep, its really true

Yes its true.. Suppertuner was the first to give out this bit of info when the Rx-1 came out.. He used them in all motorycle engines for some easy HP..

1000 miles of trail riding last winter plus 55 miles of 500' at a time racing this summer and I'm still running the same set of plugs. If they don't foul on us in the grass with the extra fuel added in the low end they won't foul out on the trail. In 3 years I think I've heard of 2 fouled plugs from customers and generally it was because the choke was left on too long.

They have never fouled for me. They won't do any damage to your engine. If you run the cr10ek on the trail for a while, and stop and put the stock plugs back in you will think you have something wrong with the engine, (slow responce and slugish). Put the cr10 ek back in and like magic the power comes back, it is that noticeable. Mike Knapp#17

So, why do you think Yamaha, just does use this plug right from the factory?

so what is the plug for the 3 cyl engine?

Actually Yamaha is using them this year in the new Phazer model. Gade-thrasher, the plug is the same for the 3 cylinder. For any Apex guys make sure you get the caps for the tips of the plugs as the Apex uses a solid tip plug stock so you'll need the threaded caps.

We run them in turbo applications at over 30 lbs of boost, deto engines, burn valves and distort bores. Never once had an electrode "fall off". I think they be fine in a trail sled! I don't understand your point. Ever think it was because they are indexed no matter which way they are faced? Leaning out or richining mixtures? No, If anything they would burn the mixture sooner and more complete, i.e. advancing timing slightly, because the spark is more exposed to the chamber. A spark plug does nothing to change the mixture, certain not to efi also. Don't over analayze it. THEY MAKE MORE POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mike, not trying to argue, I know lots of people run them with no issues.

Just trying to explain what they are doing. That is fact...that is how spark plugs work. Nothing more.
