U forgot about the tunnels buckling from ice build up in the rear.
Shame on Cat for rushing this sled to production screw'n all theses buyers. The chain case issue is major, and don't think they'll fix it in 2013 model year. 2014 suzuki is out as motor builder, and thier producing thier own, more misery. But hey, they look cool!!!

I was thinking the same. Imagine if Arctic Cat has the multiple "small" issues (loose bolts, parts rubbing, etc.) when they build their engines?

LOL, you guys.
I own one.
600 miles, only issue is reverse beeping when turning the sled on after use, only happens 50% of the time or even less, its been the sensor in the chaincase. I have hit 109MPH running out of lake, only pulling 7400, maybe a boost leak??
I have to say I love this sled, not just because I own it, because it rocks. Ridiculous pull from 30-90, hand warmers are HOT, seat heater is awesome, no darting, steers as light as my buddies 2011 Apex, VERY flat handling, ride pretty good, better then my Nytro (out of the box). There are a few issues to sort through, but I am very pleased with how AC has handled these issues, very proactive, things that get swept under the rug with Yami are delt with right away with AC.
Im not trying to sugar coat anything, but don't believe everything you hear. It's no different then reading the Nytro forums, if thats what you based your opinions on then you would miss out on a fun sled.
I would give this machine a solid 8/10, and I believe there is a possible 9.5/10 to be had with a little work and some time on the sled.

I own 2 vectors, 1 worrier and 2 new phazers and I can tell you they arn't any more reliable than any one of my 6 new cats that I have owned, And thats a fact.
well, i can speak first hand on the owning both...wrote a report on my experiences...link below...

My opinion...Yamaha clearly has the upper hand if they choose to play it...However, we are yet to see if they are truly serious about attacking the mountain segment...Polaris has clearly spoken with a 417 lb. Belt drive platform...say what you want, but in the hills weight and power is everything....and without excellent handling, you will not have a true mountain sled...
Yamaha has a LONG ways to go to make themselves competitive in the Mountain segment...

Forgot about the beepping. My review from this week. It's a great sled.

(Fix the reverse issue) Adjust the fox floats for better handling and throw som pics on that turbo and it's a hell of a machine. Longevity is the only thing we do not know.
