So the part numbers of a 2018 mtx se and my xtx are
8KG-F2201-10-00. 2018 162 mtx se
8JR-F2201-10-00* 2014 141 xtx
What’s the difference?
I got a guy to measure the shock he had and it’s the same as mine. So does that mean I have the right shock?
more thAt chart mean top to bottom it’s 12.5”? Maybe that’s what’s confusing me. I always measure ctc on the eyelets.

The measurements in the chart are center to center. If you have the Cat part numbers I can help you more. Its the number on the shock that starts with 2704-? or 3704-? etc.So the part numbers of a 2018 mtx se and my xtx are

Sorry missed your reply...I ended up just welding the rail and re-powdered them. Just waiting for a zbroz center shock spring and in it goes. I appreciate the help trying to figure things out...I have a good understanding of the differences between years.

the ones with 13000 km on them from my 11 apex looked way better than that. might have run it on some questionable fuel.

I bought it last year and went through everything except the fuel system and spark plugs. Guess I will change the fuel filter also.
