Sled has been running perfect, 2500 kms so far. This morning started fine, warmed up to 70c as we always do, ran for 2 kms, oil light came on and sled shut down. Checked level, no leaks , restarted and ran for 10-15 secs and did it again. Decide to turn around and get back to road to be picked up. Shutdown again after maybe 25 secs. Started back up, came to road still running. Ended up running fine all day, 140 kms. Anyone else hear of this? Will talk to dealer tomorrow.

Nothing like that but it seems like the sensitivity of that sensor has been changed since reflash. What year do you have?

Mine does the same thing but only after you shut it off to stop for gas or to talk for a sec then when you flip the key on the oil light sometimes comes on and i have to shut the key off and let it sit for a couple mins then it will go out and start back up. and this is just trail riding without it being on its side, i have also checked the oil level many times and it is still full.

I have had it happen twice on two separate days. First time about 200 km on and went from warm shop outside. 1km out light came on, I stop and light went out. I carried on and it suddenly shutdown. Turn key off and sat there for a minute restarted and fine for rest of the day. This morning again started out from warm shop, now 3400km on it. About 15km out and cruising across a field it suddenly shuts right with oil light. Turned off key and restarted and never looked back with another 100km on today.

Same here
Happened to me the first time when I had it on its side but has happened a couple times after my first service of just trail/boondocking and not on its side at all.
Seems like a sensor is awfully touchy of something???
Has never stuck me yet but........

Both. Times for mine never on its side.

Happened to me too, I thought it was scratchers I installed to the skis and throwing large chuncks of snow into the engine compartment, removed the scratchers and was good the rest of the day. I guess it wasn't the scratchers, keep us posted on what you find out from the dealer.

Never happened on my Viper but every now and then I get an oil warning light on my Nytro right after start up. I shut it off, wait a second and restart. It always goes away.

Spoke to dealer, no oil pressure sensor issues that they are aware of . They have seen the light coming on for guys that ride hard and jump drifts,They did not seemed to be too concerned about it, right now no issues. We will see what happens this week-end.
