I doubt my name will ever be on the registration of a sled built in an arctic cat factory
I used to think like that too. My sidewinder is a better sled than any sled that ever came out of Japan. More comfortable, handles better, warmer, front end bushings dont wear out every season, rear skids dont break. Sure, theres a few pain in the #*$&@ things like the chaincase and all the torx bolts, but overall it is definitely better than a Nytro or Apex.

I also used to think that. I actually used to bash Arctic Cat to no end but I have come around. They make a great chassis which is why I bought one. I spent countless hrs and $$$ to make my Yamaha chassis handle as well as my stock Cat chassis. Don't get me wrong, Yamaha has a strong and reliable chassis and there motors are bulletproof but the new cat chassis feel and respond very well which is why I have one.I doubt my name will ever be on the registration of a sled built in an arctic cat factory

Yep I love my reliable Yamaha's but like you have also love my VIPER it handles and rides so nice.
Just whish it would top end like even a Vector much less a Nytro. ( I have 2 Vectors so please dont say a Viper will beat a Vector it WONT been there done that on several rides/trys).
