2019 SRX Order Numbers?

You hit the nail on the head Whitedust! Yamaha has nothing to lose in speaking to us regarding the sled division future! Talking to my dealer, who has been a dealer for Yamaha since the 70's, said to me he would like to know where this inventory of abundant sleds are located! I believe that the so called inventory has been allocated out and its time for Yamaha to come forward with the future of the sled division. Are they in or are they out! When is the spring only order time end? Maybe at that time we will hear something.
I think the spring order is already done.

This is exactly why Yamaha needs to go public with their future plans for the snow division. I’m in the wait and see boat for 2020 and if nothing again I’m done waiting. I have no idea why Yamaha can’t step up and give us a reveal of the future? No one is going to hang in there for Yamaha without a commitment to the snow division. Yamaha needs to take out the gag rag and talk to us if they want our loyalty. If Yamaha is done then so be it customers will still buy out the inventory for the Yamacats and commitment would help sell inventory. Yamaha has everything to gain and nothing to lose to speak to us regarding the future.
They did go public, they are here to stay. The newly released video does a good job explaining their plans which makes a lot of sense, yes I think 2020 will show all the naysayers that Yamaha will be back with a vengeance. The Japanese are smart people, the lack of snow, and coin to buy 18k sleds has caused a backlog in the whole snowmobile industry. You drive by a large dealer and they have stacks of crates of unsold sleds from Doo, Poo and AC. Also lets remember, the Yamaha sleds reliability has kept people on their sleds a lot longer then the others.

Ok give us the details of the 2020 build? Pure Yamaha or TRF sleds? An all new line up top to bottom or just Viper, SW and SRX which is a chopped SW? We know what is gone Apex,Vector Venture and Phaser what is next?? We are asking for some general details of what line up can be expected in 2020’not a super broad brush stroke that Yamaha may still offer same old TRF sleds. If Yamaha is committed to a new line up they should say it. I don’t care what inventory the competitors may have they did not discontinue 75% of their line ups. Lol Keep comparisons apples to apples Yamaha has cut their line up to Vipers and SWs and no detail of what to expect in 2020. I’m not picking on your post just trying to keep it real and factual give me something I can get behind even a concept of engines or sled would be refreshing not a Yamaha generalization that we will be here somehow or another in 2020.

Did you view the new Video? They can't come out and say what, because like the auto industry you keep this stuff under wraps. People have been released, even prosecuted, in the auto industry for giving away secrets about upcoming products. Watch the video that was posted.......under the 20/20 speculation thread

There is nothing new with this video. It’s been out for about a month, if not more.

Yeah it’s about the 2019 Power Surge and says we are in biz in 202o which is the same old same old they said to the mags. Nothing about expanding the line past TRF sleds or that there will be any new sleds past TRF sleds. Yamaha could say we will have a new line up in 2020 or we have some new hp offerings something to keep us interested. If Yamaha thinks the faithful in 2020 will be ok with BNG Spring Order only they are sadly mistaken. Technically BNG is staying in biz in 2o20 but I’m way past being interested in that approach along with many others and why we are asking for more.

If they told you what was coming, then how would they be able to sell off all the leftovers
Many say there is no Yamaha inventory seems it is more dealer based than Yamaha owned inventory and those that have inventory want it for themselves. I think the inventory will sell or has already been sold and isn’t a problem for Yamaha Corp. Read posts in this forum as many are challenging the existence of said inventory. I know my dealer didn’t have but 6 non current sleds left in March and sold 70 of the 18s. I haven’t checked back with him but his last communication was nothing he could do but wait and see if he could get more sleds to sell and he was very disappointed.

Your dealer was all in favor of Yamaha's plan for 2019. Kip posted in depth on John Dee why Yamaha went this direction and answered everyone's question that followed. You seem to be putting words in is mouth and twisting them around to your own negative flavor. He stated that this move by Yamaha would help dealers move current inventory and help Yamaha units hold there value for resale, which he agreed with. He also stated that Yamaha WILL be a player in the snowmobile business for a very long time. Pat's Yamaha is probably the biggest Yamaha dealer in the Midwest, Kip is very level headed and a straight shooter so I would believe him over most internet trolls.

Wow I never said word one regarding Pats or Kip so please show me that reference. I would never do that so you are the one with the misinformation.

For me you didn't have to, I see you on John Dee with the same lame responses you post here. I can copy many threads from the JD forum and post them here if you like... just stating facts. Your quote "my dealer sold 70 new 18 Yamaha units" came right from Kips thread and his post. I'm not here to fight with you but stop putting the Viper/SW platform down and enjoy your pure Yamaha if that's what you like. I love my Sidewinder and my Viper, you love your Apex XTX..life is good, move on.

I hardly said a bad word about the SW or Viper that’s a severe reach and you are over reacting to my reference that BNG is not a productive future for Yamaha. If the Yamaha future is just Viper or SW that’s not much to anticipate it’s same old same old. As far as the SW goes I think it is a pretty good sled but imo needed eps other than that not a bad sled at all and a great engine. I have little interest in the Viper as most 130 ish hp sleds but logged quite a few miles on them really haven’t said anything good or bad about Viper just don’t care. As far as conversations with dealers they will always be confidential with me nothing I would post on a public forum just not my style and I would never post names and organizations just general comments as things change in time with them and us and I’ll leave it at that since your reference was along time ago and little was known at that time. If you want to follow me around on social media nothing I can do about that but seems foolish to me from one enthusiast to another. Don’t take things so personally constructive critiques of products is a good thing and I’m sure you too want to see something new from Yamaha no matter where it is manufactured. As far as my Apex xtx goes I like it but the Ck is not that great imo and I thought the EC mono was better. The Apex SS was very disappointing imo harsh as heck so if I buy a new Yamaha it will have to be a new product platform or nothing for me. I’m very hopeful Yamaha has something new for all of us that has wide appeal to Viper, SW and Apex riders and 2020 is the real deal.

At this point I will be happy with the name Yamaha on the side of a sled in year 2020!
