So after 72 pages we ran out of 2020 speculation, wants, needs and dreams of that perfect lightweight (400 lb) 2s tuning fork composite material around 10k priced sled will make it back into production in 2020 or beyond.

Well what ever happens Yamaha 4s reliability, fit and finish, ear to ear grinning arm pulling acceleration fun will be here to stay as we all know 4s will be around long after the last 2s coughs up a piston or crank bearing.

I was wondering what happened to everyone !
I say put the apex motor and P.S. in the in the Winder Add some BMG, call it
An SXR or V-Max/4 . @ $12 G"s …..and MY LTX Vector, is a back-up sled for the "Nubys"
(or Just Pump that 1049 up the way it should be)

more patents were released by yamaha yesterday and theres a carbon fiber seld coming soon forshire..shows 2 new frames for a 3 cylinder and 4 cylimder engine..for you non believers look for yourself

For insurance reasons keep the cc's at 998. 1049 cc you pay more $$$$$ to insure over that 1000 cc mark.

I like hearing that! As long as they keep putting out more patents, that means they are still in the sled biz.

Do you have a link for these patents?

I think we are at the point where we are looking for spy pictures and/or a leak of what is coming. We can yak and speculate but whatever is coming for 2020 is a done deal. Time to talk to your dealer see what he /she has heard. Yamaha has always in the past taken their products to the masses via factory test rides. There is Yamaha test ride at Pat’s in Greenland , MI tomorrow so I’m hopeful we will get some information.

If they are true to form, they will have some of their top dealers at the test rides. I know our local dealer was at the big Sidewinder reveal; I later saw him in one of Yamaha's Sidewinder videos after the release. I know they are all sworn to secrecy, but hopefully someone will give us "enough" information to keep us excited and hoping for next year!

I suspect a smaller sled will be among the new offerings .

The one cylinder fishing sled is my bet.. it's a new segment, and like for bikes, volumes are not atained by the most high end specialized bikes rather scooters.. so I guess that would be interesting to see if it would be the same for snowmobiles if we had the option..

My guess is Bravo II and or Enticer III

Snoscoot and VK seems to fit that segment

There's still a gap between snoscoot and the larger sleds that I believe Yamaha is aware of and will fill with a new offering.

The VK is great but man it's a tank.

Yeah VK not for a teen trail sled but a ice fishing/wood hauling workhorse.
Phazer was a good teen sled however was dated and they did not move forward on design so it got stale. Why buy new when your 5 year old Phazer looked no different.

I wouldn't be surprised to see 2 sleds in between snoscoot and larger sizes: a restyled sled bearing the phazer name, and a new 300ish cc 4 stroke (maybe even 2) perhaps bearing the Bravo or Enticer name. This is just my guess, I could be wrong and could have been given wrong information.
