they need to stop putting 1.25 lug tracks on the sidewinders, they are worthless for traction with that power!!!!

These are all super easy things to do and could attract more buyers if they can get what they want.I would like to see some more options for colours, tracks, etc. I know we are not getting a Yamaha 2 stroke motor, or a new suspension or whatever we all complain about. I guess those are all tall orders. So why not just give us more colour options? Or maybe the Ice Ripper track, or different lug lengths Stuff that's easy to do. Gimme an option for a Winder with QS3's, (don't need that Iact) in a colour that I like and I may pull the trigger!!
There is a new Yamaha Canada website that gives you the option to build your sled. Maybe for 2021 they will be giving us more options? These are all super easy things to do and could attract more buyers if they can get what they want.

I was just about to say they should allow you to build your sled the way you want it. They will attract a lot of new business. There is a new Yamaha Canada website that gives you the option to build your sled. Maybe for 2021 they will be giving us more options?

Just thinking... that's kinda what Yamaha did with the 600 Transporter, so they already reached that new low.If Yamaha uses the blast with a 2s engine with different stickers that say Yamaha on them, then that would be a new low for them.

I think we can all agree our expectations are low.
Hopefully Yamaha shocks us all. Or at least has some mild surprises.

Got some news for you believers. There is no Santa Clause, Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy, and Yamaha does not make sleds. I know, I want to be a believer myself, but if you believe Yamaha is going to do anything different than what they have done since the agreement with AC, you are literally a fool. We all want to believe and many have great ideas and wishes we would like to see, but Yamaha is n0t changing their ways for us.

It’s to bad if we never get another true Yamaha sled. From working on my 06 apex to working on the upgraded 11 apex I can believe how much nicer the 11-18 sleds are than the 06-10 apex’s. Imagine what the next generation apex could have been!

Do your research on the RX1 engine. Some designs are same as R1 but it is a snowmobile engine only as was the Phazer engine. Very different. Biggest is gear Reduction. Our best hope for getting that back is if Yamaha decides to use a belt on a UTV with a high performance motor. To meet longevity it will have to be used. These motors we have now are not the high performance motors that made Yamaha a engine company. They cost saving measures. Yes I am a realist and I know they cant afford the motors of past but its a darn shame its come to this.
The RX1 motor was a PWC motor before it was in the sled....it was obviously based on the early R1 motor but it was the MR1 before it got to the sled.
The phazer 500 motor in the Blast chassis would be fantastic...but I think the big Y's commitment to the sled biz is waning.

We have been waiting for Yamaha to come back with there own chassis and a light weight 4 stroke, I guess that day may never come, march will tell the tale, funny there's not a Teaser vid on the blast -Enticer model yet.Got some news for you believers. Yeah that was low but if they do the same for the Blast then its going to ultra low.Just thinking... that's kinda what Yamaha did with the 600 Transporter, so they already reached that new low.

You know its to bad, the Sidewinder engine is a piece of art that no other OEM has come close to being so reliable and powerful, the Viper engine is also in the same category, although there has been some issues with the chassis and some electrical problems I blame a lot on Cat DNA, but Yamaha seems to be ironing those problems out and these sleds are getting way better, I guess all sleds have issues, the pro cross is getting up there in age so we might see some changes here, I don't think Cat released everything, i'm thinking there is a refined pro cross that Yamaha engines are sitting in ready to be released also i'm thinking Cat will release a few more models in this refined chassis, the blast body not sure if that is a pro cross or a new chassis, it may be used in Yamaha's line up but i'm thinking this maybe where Yamaha may have something new, in the entry level youth category, this just maybe where there could be a new pure Yamaha chassis, i'm saying this only because if you look at the release date poster and Jaret running around on his 300 Enticer in one of his vids those hints seems to be pointing to a youth entry level sled, and it will be a 4 stroke.
