WHAT!!! This is not possible, a plug wire must have been off one of the cylinders of the Winders Motor, Don't you know the 900r engine is a big turd, something seems kinda funny about this, somebody will get to the bottom of this i'm sure of it.I don’t have a Mach but I do have a Renegade X 900 r and I finally got to race the old Winder this weekend. We raced in a long field that was flat and pretty packed. I got him out of the hole by a couple lengths and stayed that way till the end. I only saw 110 on the dreameter but that’s all I needed to stay ahead. The field wasn’t long enough to go any faster.
My 900r has been running 7800 - 8000 rpm since new And it’s completely stock. It pulls strong and I’m totally happy with its performance. The Winder is also completely stock except for the Dalton secondary spring. I honestly couldn’t give a crap about whether it’s faster than the Winder or not but I am pleased knowing it’s not a turd like so many have reported. It’s by far the best sled I have ever owned. I only have 900 miles on it and other than adjusting the chain tension and belt deflection all I have done to it is add gas. I think it’s the best big mile trail sled on the market with the best build quality.

Can't be rockerdan i think he's still looking for the right weights
HaHa, he's still looking for Jam, Snap and Wheelies too! Good place for him over there because they have lots of Jam, Snap and Wheelies in abundance.

Well honestly I never modified my Winder and even though it performed fine for me it wasn’t as responsive corner to corner as my 900r is. The throttle response on my 900 is unreal and that’s what matters most to me.WHAT!!! Maybe in a really long race the winder will top end it but from zero to 100 I’ll take my 900r.

These replies from some about their Mack is nothing short of a joke. Get real...I bet your C8 corvette is the fastest one ever made too.

Glad to hear. Really they should be close hp to hp is pretty close. The guys I ride with drove a Mach Z and they liked it.I don’t have a Mach but I do have a Renegade X 900 r and I finally got to race the old Winder this weekend. Like I posted I don’t have a Mach. I have a Renegade X with basically a Mach engine. I have nothing to prove with my post, I’m just telling my experience before anymore the 900r is a turd posts by those who have no experience with them. It seems like there are many insecure people on these forums that don’t want to hear anything other than what they want to hear. These replies from some about their Mack is nothing short of a joke. Seems like you're the one who doesn't like what he is hearing and SEEING in actual videos of the races.

Not at all. The problem is most guys here have modified Winders. Mine was and still is stock. My observation was based on two stock sleds.Seems like you're the one who doesn't like what he is hearing and SEEING in actual videos of the races.

The winder in the video is out of the crate stock with studs. Not sure how more stock you can get then that. Heck for all I know the Mack Z could have had a Hurricane ECU in it.Not at all. I don’t care about the video. I don’t need a video when I have real life experience. Anyone can post videos but do we really know what we are seeing? I’m sure the videos we see on the internet are the absolute truth and those who post them never exaggerate what we are seeing.Maybe you should post a video being this one Isn’t to your liking.

When my Winder was stock that’s about how bad I walked the new 850 Poo I raced. We weren’t studded and his transferred better so he spotted me a few lengths right off the line but I quickly reeled him in and blew by him like it should with an extra 40 hp.

Well then that has me convinced. What I experienced cannot be true because you and that video just proved me wrong. Even though I bought and have owned both sleds your video proves me wrong. The winder in the video is out of the crate stock with studs. Not sure how more stock you can get then that. Heck for all I know the Mack Z could have had a Hurricane ECU in it.

But we should believe you because? Just saying…anyone can tell stories. It appears DMC had a real life experience and posted a video to go with it.I don’t care about the video.
