I was advised to go Cat for 22 upper if I wanted to purchase a 22, that was a month ago.

I think it is a hard pill to swallow for the dealers, but atleast they know where to go for hard to get parts, much like last years secondary rollers (Cat orlon).


You know what, big deal, it is kind of Nice to have another spot to look for my yamacat needs.

I ran 22/41 in my Viper, got the full setup from Allen Ulmer. I contacted him to see if he had any 22s. He said he had 5 and got cleared out on Friday. And of course like said back ordered now. Day late and a dollar short I guess.

I dont understand why a trail guy would not just go another step higher if gears are available. You guys know you will add more and more power with tunes. Go Big. Is no real downfall for a trailrider and clutches and all components in them will not be stressed as much either. Cripes my Viper is NA and 25-45 works great.

People are going to 22s to save money, no change to bottom gear or chain.

Yes but narrow chain.
