3 gallons or less in your tank!!

hole size on upper left fuel tank

Hole location.. THIS is the furthest you can drill as you will see in pics.. The mark I show is fine but you may want to move it 1/16" inward towards the center of fuel assembly. Nothing wrong with my hole location just very close to being to far.

And last but not least. The fuel assembly goes back in a certain way. Kinda obvious for most guys on here. But the yellow marks I added show the mark that lines up with fuel nipple. Any questions pm me. This really is a easy mod and a must for tuned sleds IMO. While your pulling the fuel assembly mine as well put a bigger capacity fuel pump in especially if tuned.

@jonlafon1 Thanks a lot!! I was watching this thread and decided not to mess with it as I haven't had any issues, but with your write up I'll go ahead and tackle it. Ordering parts today.

Exactly the same way I did mine with one small exception. I made a stainless plug for the standard hole in the tank.

One question about the fuel pump upgrade does this not require a bespoke flash? Or maybe pressure is not affected just flow? What's the common upgrade Walbro 255?

The fuel pump upgrade is just a slightly higher capacity pump. I use the TD one. Cheaper options available around. No flash or anything it’s just a upgrade and a good idea if your going past a stage 1 tune. So stock and or a 240/eco trail tune the stock pump is fine. Anything more Imo upgrade the pump.

TD OR Hurricane sell pump upgrade. Or Walbro?
Not sure which. Someone will chime in.
1NC 2000 I believe went with a walbro just not sure which one.
