I have no clue on the others but I agree a wide weight that contacts as much area on roller as possible is always best. Have your magnaforce weights been durable and holding up well?I haven't checked that out yet but am intending to. I wonder if they, or anyone have ADAPT wide weights? Unless I'm wrong, D&D were the only guys I could see that have an adjustable (magnets like BMP) weight that is almost as wide as the roller. Seems like everyone else just uses pretty much a standard width? Dalton shows ADAPT weight but they look like standard width. I like the really wide weight as it spreads the force over a much bigger surface. Weight bushings don't wear out. And, rollers don't get a groove in them where the narrower weight runs.

Yes. Me and 3 if my riding group have them. I have over 7,000 miles and still like new. No bushing wear at all. Same as new. 300 HP tunes. Combined we have over 20,000 miles on 3 sleds. Yes, some have lightweight covers out there and based on the recall from a specific company, my guess is they didn't do enough testing.

Seen a few photos now of the Adapt clutch blown up on Facebook, and not just the cover, complete clutch explosions. Is it another ticking time bomb like the older TEAM?

I read somewhere that some people have removed the weight attached to the fixed sheave. Not saying this is what happened, but it's surprising what some people do sometimes.

Just an update, almost two weeks after breaking the cover, Cat finally responed that they want my clutch back to determine if they're willing to warranty the clutch or not.

Hahah. Luckily I had already purchased another one from another dealer locally so I could get my sled back up and running for the end of our season here.Probably get a new one in a year

Are you referring to the metal ring that attached to the back side of the inner sheave? I was always under the impression that needs to stay on for vibration/harmonics/weight. The new clutch is already lighter weight, removing this would reduce weight further and risk harmonics taking it apart?I read somewhere that some people have removed the weight attached to the fixed sheave.
