I've seen the Excell and Ulmer air intake systems and people seem pretty happy with those. But those are still sucking in warmish air from around the engine and behind the radiator are they not? Has anyone tried sucking air from the top like the AC sleds do?
Also those with the air intake mods, do you find that the sled takes longer to warm up? One benefit of the original setup would be that the engine should warm up quicker.

The Excell kit block off the bottom and pulls air from the top front right side vents with a new snorkel. It not pulling under hood air unless its not moving you may get some.

Ah, okay, I misunderstood what I was looking at with that one then. The Excell kit block off the bottom and pulls air from the top front right side vents with a new snorkel. It not pulling under hood air unless its not moving you may get some.
Onto the next part of the question, do people who have those intakes find it takes the sled longer to warm up?
