PVC duct to direct Cold Air to Turbo

Today it was -6c and I was seeing as hi as 25C on the intake and as low as 18C and with it in the belly it was 35C and up.

I rode this week in some warmer temps. My intake air was anywhere from 98 to 125 degrees. I called Hurricane and told what I wanted to do and he sent me some parts to make my own. I plumbed to so the air filter is directly behind the frog skin in the nose area. I did have to cut my side panel.

i ordered a bumper and the nose will be a bad place for me. i called dave too. gonna get the cold air intake kit. if u got pics id like to see how u made out.

With my intake beside the rad I was running 65deg intake temps with 26deg outside temps!

That's exactly what I did at the beginning of this year and ending up with to much heat. Then moved it to the side of the rad!

Looks good stain. Keep an eye on your air fuel gauge. I plumed my intake to the outside and I noticed I was running lean @ wot

Good advice. I didn't think of that.

Tested my set up yesterday. I dropped 25-35 degrees on intake temp. 1 bonus was the noise I was hearing from 25-35 mph and assumed was the Hindle exhaust seems much quieter. It must have been intake resonance. I even took my earplugs out and didn't use them the rest of the day.

How was your air fuel ratio?

10.5-10.7 WOT

This is the way to do it, cost is nothing, just flip the elbow and cut the side panel. Looks badass IMO and temps drop WAaaay down.

Has anyone tried to use the arctic cat style intake which already has mesh on it.
You should be able to cut it out Or simply use the AC console._20170222_085238.JPG
