American Snowmobiler Magazine Shootout at Brainerd Results

You Da MANNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I knew you would do good.

Don, nice talking to you the other night, and Congrats, Buddy!

;)!

I don't have the numbers for the turbo runs, but it was in the high 8's at around 150mph for Bender's Stage 3 turbo and that sled took the turbo shootout win, quite impressive. Traction was a problem there because of the weather I believe.

Well I hope I got this right.......

Winner of the Turbo Class was Keith Wood on a Bender Racing-sponsored Yamaha RX-1. He had a fastest turbo time of 8.865 at 153.16 mph.

The winner of the top 4 elapsed time was Jim Moore, a member of the Just For Kicks race team from Casper, Wyo., on his modified 2000 Ski-Doo Mach Z. finishing with a quarter-mile time of 8.837 at 148.79 mph in the final run.

Of course the winner of the bracket race was I (Don Hebert) from Lac du Bonnet, MB. on my 2003 Yamaha RX-1, dialed-in at a time of 11.52 (just can't seem to run my 11.25 down in the USA, must be the air!!!) in the bracket final, I ran a time of 11.583 at 108.15 mph, staying within six hundreths of a second of my dial-in. I think what clinched it was that .026 light I cut  !!!!

Christopher Peterson sponsored by Wahl Bros. and a member of the Just For Kicks race team from Casper, Wyo. 8.656 which was the fastest ET of the event

Steven Wisneski (better known as Asphalt Stevie) ran an 8.865 early in the day at 157.36 mph which was the fastest speed of any sled at the event.
