Muffinworks no longer makes them. The Skinz seem to take up the whole front area. The AC ones looked ok, but i think the Muffinworks pads, like on MrSled's, could be made easily

What do the Arctic Cat ones look like? I do not like the look of the skinz.

Ya, but i can't find any Yamaha parts yet. I'm going to look at them in person & return them if i don't like. I'm going to get some 1/2'' foam & see if i can make them like Muffinworks did

The skinz don't fit as well as they did on the viper. I am thinking the best option right now would have to be these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SledNeeZ-XW-Snowmobile-Kneepads-Knee-Pads-/371546268175what you find?
Here is the thread w/them in it: http://ty4stroke.com/threads/sidewinder-knee-pads.144655/

I like those, but 3/8'' thick is a little thin. I was thinking same thing, but 1/2''

I wish the Ski Doo knee pads would work...They are the best out there by far.

I managed to get my hands on a set of the Yamaha pads. They were for the Viper but also were spec' do for the SW - were shown as a SW accessory until they ran out of stock. Looking at them they are very small - instructions seem to indicate they go more on the "side" to protect the inside of the knee rather than protecting the top or face of the know. Anyone have any experience with them?? Plan to install next weekend when I p/u the machine

I got tired of looking so made my own. I just ordered pron open cell foam and cut my own with a utility knife. Look great and was cheap. Make sure to get adhesive back and heat it to set the glue with a hair dryer. I would post a pic but can't for some reason. I used 1/4 inch foam, looks factory to me.
