apex 2011 stock first top speed

Manual states that EPS provides the greatest amount of assistance up to 35mph, and then gradually tapers as speed increases.

I will post my thoughts on the sled later today.

Me too I believe on a lake they can hit 125mph easely ;)! . They are geared 24/37 for the Apex SE 2011. Its similar to 25-38 for older apex.
First mod to try: flyweight from my 2010. The 2011 are too loaded.

Are you guys talking dream-o-metre speeds or radar speeds?

The previous Apex had 24/38 gearing and the new fly weights are heavier for a reason. More Power!!!!! The primary spring and rollers are different also. Try switching clutches. Should over rev.

I know a wind factor plays a big roll. I pulled a 118 mph on ice with my Apex when it was a 121 skid. Only pulled 109 in full tuck going in the other direction same line and against the wind. Good Tale wind sure helped!
I'm predicting that a 2011 128 Apex with a 1" track will pull around 116-119 mph on ice.

We already know all these spec. But most people wants to make rev more the 2011(around 10300-10500) and there is some crazy guys who have tried the 2010 fly weight and the first comments are good.
The 2011 gives a new feeling on acceleration this year.

120's will be common on the new reactor. Good conditions of coarse. Tuners...........high 120's. Make it free wheel and Mike Knapps 10700 - 10900 RPM.
The other brands will come out strong.......... but only the Apex will stand at the end of the year.

The Dreaming Continues! stock 103 to 106 tops. Out of the box stock, no matter what it says on the gauge.

I think they'll run a little faster than that...I'd say 115-116 ( radar ) once loosened up....it was already stated that someone went 106 on gps in a short distance. Stock 06-10 models will run 112-113 on radar. I just don't think you'll see a stocker run in the 120s. Again I'm taking radar or gps speeds....dream-o-metre speeds mean nothing unless your speedo is dead nuts accurate.

Apex XTX is very capable to run 120, make sure to run the track tight to minimize contact with tunnel protectors.. 128" track will be 2-3 mph less..

Exactly.

It may accelerate like crazy, but it takes HORSEPOWER to run 120's with a trail sled.

2000 feet, 240 REAL hp (nitrous) TRAIL APEX, 144 TRAIL STUDS, 128mph on radar. Do the math.

I just did the math. your sled is slow for that HP.
